Get creative this SUMMER HOLIDAY

We want to inspire children and young people to be creative and believe in learning through play for all ages. Join us at The Sidings for a summer season of FREE family friendly creative workshops every weekend during the Summer Holidays. Funded by Chalk Cliff Trust & Lewes District Council

PLAYFUL COLLAGE CARDS

Join artist Amber Elise in a playful exploration of shape and colour. Use collage to create your own greeting cards or postcards to share with family and friends.

Make your own Zine

Join RTS Zines to make your own zine, a mini magazine to share your voice with the world! Experiment with collage, drawing, cutting, and writing to create your own DIY publication.

Travel

  • Brighton & Hove Buses 12, 12A, 14, 14C, 492 & N12 stop throughout the town centre and at Newhaven Town Station. Get your bus tickets and timetables from the Brighton & Hove Buses website.

    The Sidings is a two minute walk from Newhaven Town Station.

  • There are regular direct trains to Newhaven Town Station from Lewes and Seaford. If travelling from further afield you can change at Lewes Station. Southern Rail operates routes from London, Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings to Lewes. Get your train tickets and timetables from the Southern Rail website.

    The Sidings is a two minute walk from Newhaven Town Station.

  • You can cycle from Lewes to Newhaven on the Egrets Ways. Please your route on the Egrets Way website.

    Bike racks are available at The Sidings.

  • Limited free parking is available on site. However, we recommend travelling my public transport or using the following free Lewes District Council car parks:
