BN9 Community Events Fund

In parternship with Creative Newhaven and Towner Eastbourne we are looking to help fund community groups to deliver events at The Sidings in Newhaven this July and August.

This event fund is open to non-profit organisations, charities, and community groups. Successful applicants will receive:

• Grant award between £500 & £1500

• No site rental for The Sidings

• Free use of marquee

• Free use of basic PA system (we will specify the kit and there will be an option to upgrade on the desk, number of mics and mic stands, and monitors if needed at a fee). N.B. No sound engineer included (we can provide for £300 per event)

• 1 Site manager for 8-hour shift (any longer will be charged on)

• 1 Security steward (Abyss will also have one in the evening so this enables a capacity of 200. If a capacity of 201+ is needed, we can provide extra security and charge on)

• No charge for refuse and recycling (if we need to pay for this)

• No charge for power

• ½ day mentoring from Look Again

• Included in all BN9 marketing and Comms
